Every treatment starts with a medical skin analysis. Only then do we decide together on the right protocol. Age spots and individual pigment spots use a different laser technique and usually need 1–2 treatments. This is why their prices differ from melasma treatment.

Melasma – single sessions & packages.
Melasma is a chronic, hormonally influenced pigment disorder and needs a different concept than classic age spots: treatments at intervals of 1–2 weeks, combined with medical aftercare and – where appropriate – tranexamic acid. Single sessions are possible; for a stable result we recommend at least 10 treatments, which is why the packages are considerably better value.

How much do treatments for age spots, individual pigment spots and melasma cost?
Age spots and individual pigment spots cost from CHF 400 per treatment; usually 1–2 treatments are needed. Melasma costs CHF 150 per session; a package of 5 treatments costs CHF 650. The prices differ because age spots and individual pigment spots use a different laser technique and require fewer treatments. Hollywood Carbon Peel is a separate treatment.
Does the treatment hurt?
Thanks to continuous cooling with the Zimmer Cryo 7®, many patients find the treatment well tolerated. Short pulses, cold air in between – no anaesthetic needed.
How many sessions do I need?
Age spots and individual pigment spots usually need 1–2 treatments. Melasma usually needs a longer series and an individual aftercare concept.
Can every pigment be treated?
No. Every treatment starts with a medical assessment of the skin. Not every brown skin change is suitable for laser – safety comes before results.
Can melasma be completely removed?
Melasma can be significantly improved, but relapses are possible. Consistent sun protection and, if appropriate, tranexamic acid are part of the concept.
Do I need to use sun protection?
Yes. Consistent UV protection is part of every pigment treatment – otherwise the pigment will return.
When will I see results?
Depending on the pigmentation, often within a few weeks. For melasma and deeper pigment, results appear gradually over several sessions.
