When you use the contact form on this website, the details you enter – first name, last name, email address, optional phone number, selected request and optional message – are used solely to generate two emails: a confirmation to you and a notification to the practice.

The details are never stored in a database or in log files. They exist only in memory for the duration of the transmission and are discarded afterwards. Only the email in the practice mailbox remains.

We use the service provider Resend as a processor for delivery. To prevent abuse, an irreversible hash of the IP address is stored together with a counter for at most one hour per submission; the IP address itself is not stored.

The legal basis is your consent and our overriding interest in answering your enquiry. Please do not send medical details or findings via the form.

• –Contact data: name, address, phone number, email address.
• –Appointment data: booking date, treatment type, practitioner, cancellations.
• –Health data (sensitive): medical history, medication, skin type, indications, contraindications, treatment documentation, before/after photographs.
• –Photos you send us voluntarily for a non-binding initial assessment (by email).
• –Billing data: invoices, payments, outstanding amounts, cancellation fees.
• –Technical data when visiting the website: IP address, browser type, time of access, requested pages (server logs).

• –Performing the treatment contract and medical care (Art. 31 revFADP / Art. 6(1)(b), Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR).
• –Legal documentation duties under Swiss medical professional law.
• –Appointment management and reminders, including via our booking provider.
• –Invoicing and enforcement of claims, including cancellation fees.
• –Consent for photo documentation and before/after images – always separate, voluntary and revocable at any time.

• –Doctena (online appointment booking) – name, contact details, appointment type. Servers in the EU; data processing agreement in place.
• –IT, hosting and practice software providers, bound by contract and confidentiality.
• –Laboratories, specialists or hospitals – only with your consent or where medically necessary.
• –Health insurers and accident insurers – only for services that are actually billed to them; aesthetic treatments are private services.
• –Debt collection and legal advisors in case of unpaid invoices.

No transfer takes place to countries without an adequate level of data protection. All staff are bound by medical professional secrecy (Art. 321 Swiss Criminal Code).

This website uses no tracking or marketing cookies and embeds no third-party analytics services. Technically necessary server logs are created on access and deleted after a short period.

The booking button opens Doctena's external appointment calendar in a new window; Doctena's own privacy policy applies there. Photos are sent to us by email only and are deleted after the assessment unless a treatment follows.

After you submit an appointment request, Doctena's booking calendar is embedded on the same page. This establishes a connection to Doctena's servers, transmitting technically necessary data such as your IP address. Doctena's own privacy policy applies.

• –Medical records: 20 years after the last treatment (Swiss statutory retention period).
• –Accounting and invoices: 10 years.
• –Photo documentation: for as long as the medical record, or until consent is withdrawn.
• –Enquiries without a treatment contract: deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact.
• –Server logs: a few days.

• –Access to the data we hold about you.
• –Rectification of incorrect data.
• –Deletion or restriction of processing, unless statutory retention duties apply.
• –Withdrawal of consent at any time, with effect for the future (e.g. photo documentation).
• –Data portability for data you provided yourself.
• –Complaint to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Bern – or, under the GDPR, to your local supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, an email to info@houseoflaserbasel.ch is sufficient. For security reasons we may ask you to prove your identity.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted transmission (TLS), access-restricted practice software, role-based permissions, locked storage of physical records and regular backups. Absolute security for transmission over the internet cannot, however, be guaranteed.

This privacy policy may be amended. The version published on this page at any given time applies.

We use Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited) to manage measurement and advertising tags. It is controlled via Google Consent Mode v2. For visitors from the EEA and the United Kingdom, measurement is switched off by default; no such cookies are set before your decision.

External content such as the Google Maps map is only loaded after an explicit click. No connection to Google is established beforehand.
